About Mama Luna

I'm a happy wife, mother of three boys and an avid baker. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up watching my mother baking in the kitchen using my Grandmother’s homemade cake recipes. As a kid, I found my first true love in a bowl of her freshly whipped cream cheese frosting. As a stay at home mom, I spent years (and many late nights) exploring with different flavors using my Grandmother’s secret recipe. Baking is my happy place. I started out baking for my kid’s birthday parties and loved ones. As my friends began to place orders and recommend my cakes to their families, neighbors and co-workers, my husband encouraged me to start my own business and share my cakes with the world. I would love to one day own a bakery so my boys can witness that dreams really do come true!
